New MUSIC
biography
Yenson spent his youth in San Diego cutting his teeth at famous Southern California venues like the Casbah and the Roxy as the lead singer-songwriter of bands H.A. Perkins, Saint Diego, and Spencer Yenson & The Squatters. His time in San Diego culminated in sharing a festival bill with Tom Petty, Muse, and RHCP. After a pandemic canceled SXSW showcase and some bumps in the road, Yenson plucked his roots and took a detour to Nashville TN. He met some good folks and made some music. Following a soul-swelling year in Nash, Yenson kept it moving to New York where he's currently working on his upcoming LP.
